CineWars is an exhilarating short film contest where creativity meets competition. Eight teams will battle it out, each producing a unique short film within the given constraints. The contest unfolds in two rounds, ensuring a fair and exciting selection process.

ROUND 1: SCRIPT SUBMISSION
Participants must submit an original script within the specified deadline. Only the best eight scripts will advance to the next stage.

ROUND 2: TEAM FORMATION & FILMMAKING
Participants without a team will be assigned to a technical crew. Each of the eight selected scripts will move forward to the filmmaking stage, where a mentor from our team will guide the teams. Filmmakers will have a 15-day timeline to complete their projects.

FILM RULES
• Duration: The final film must not exceed 5 minutes, including credits.
• Credits: All contributors must be recognized in the end-credits sequence.
• Originality: Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. Violations will lead to disqualification.

CONTENT GUIDELINES
Films must adhere to ethical standards and avoid offensive or inappropriate content. The theme of the short film is left to the participants' discretion.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
• Resolution: Minimum of 1080p.
• Format: MP4 or MOV.
• Audio: Ensure clear and balanced sound quality.
• Equipment: Participants can shoot using either mobile phones or cameras.
• Language: Films can be in English or Tamil, with subtitles encouraged for better accessibility.
